Ivory wood
The trees and shrubs which are used in making various handicrafts and other usable products are known as  ivory woods or golden grasses. These woods are used for weaving basket, carpets and  furniture as well as required for shaping  mugs for tea coffee and beer, hukka (ciggy)   musical instruments and many more. These materials were used by man since thousands of  years. And now the craftsman have attained mastery over the work by perfecting their art of creation. Ivory woods are sculpted, engraved, weaved and  painted into different shapes, sizes and color  according to the demand in the market for these hand crafts. Cane and bamboo works are the most popular through out the world. Weaving baskets, carpets, making furniture, swings and  mugs and head gears for the farmers and workers in the fields, umbrella of leaves  are the significant products  out of ivory woods. Bamboo:

Bamboo is a super quality grass found in various parts of the world. It had been collected from the jungle for constructing huts  as a building material. This is very strong  durable and light weighted too. It was widely used for building houses in early days. Due to flexibility and consistency it was used for making furniture too.

Cane:

Cane can be called as solid stem of lender palms or jointed grass reeds and hallow steam of giant grasses. It is pliable and can be easily bend without breaking. It is weaved into chairs, swings, sofa set, tables and many other durable home furnishing items. Attractive walking sticks, canes and other articles are made of  this golden grass.

Talipot:

Palm leaves are used as roofing in the ancient times. Besides this many woven items like  talipot are made of palm leaves. This is a fanning instrument made of palm leaves. It is used by the people who are bereft of electricity and also used by the passengers who journey long distances during summer. Above all it is a beautiful home decor and a need for every  home and houses.
