This is also a famous Indian art found in the northern part of the country. It is a fancy work inclusive of the stitching and darning job. Phulkari means the flower works done on the fabrics with multicolored threads by needle stitching vertical, horizontal and diagonal seaming and basting. Here the embroidery work is done on the opposite side of the fabrics while the running and organization of threads are monitored on the other side. The work is tailored by different methods like darning, stem, herringbone, satin, straight, back, running, blanket, split, cross, and chain stitch. Green threads are vastly used in this work. The art are done to abrasives hence the motifs could be controlled with out frames though the outline of the structure are delineated earlier by colored pencil and single thread to avoid geometrical asymmetry.

Another craft Bagh is also a popular art in the country which is distinguished for its unique patterns and changing in trend of motifs. here the work is done with multicolored threads mostly either by seven or five different colored threads. The products this work are very lovely and eye catchy.
